Matt Waye

In these roles, Matt developed a diverse skillset that has included pastoral livestock farming, feedlot management and large-scale dryland and irrigated farming management. As Mort & Co Farming Manager, Matt is responsible for all aspects of the farming business including financial budgeting and control, stock control, administration, HR & WHS management, staff training, crop planning, sequencing and agronomy. Currently, Matt oversees 900ha of flood & overhead sprinkler irrigation, 2500ha of dryland farming and the utilisation of 4500ML of stored water (including effluent).
