Richard has over 30 years extensive experience in the beef cattle industry gained locally and overseas. Richard and family currently operate two large scale cattle properties in central Queensland as well as other commercial and retail business interests. On Richard's properties a total of 20,000 mixed cattle are run in conjunction with approximately 6,000 hectares of cultivation that includes some irrigation.

Charlie has in excess of 20 years experience in the Feedlot Services Industry. Prior to establishing Mort & Co in 1998, Charlie was the Queensland Feedlot Services Manager for Primac.
Charlie established Mort & Co to address the growing demand, by processors, for a regular and consistent supply of competitively priced quality lot fed beef cattle. Charlie’s early identification of this demand positioned the business at the forefront of a growing industry, and has resulted in solid growth. In addition, the alliances that Charlie formed with processors, producers and lot feeders saw Mort & Co grow from an annual managed turnover of approximately $1.7 million in 1998, to in excess of $180 million 15 years later.

Kevin is a chartered accountant with over 25 years experience in the areas of business services and planning, investment strategies, management and financial advice. Kevin is recognised as an expert within a number of business environments including rural management operations advice. Kevin is a former director of the accounting firm Moore Stephens Brisbane Pty Ltd, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Glenn is a solicitor and principal of DMAW Lawyers, a firm he founded in 2002, having previously been a partner in a national law firm. His legal expertise includes large commercial transactions and corporate activity regulated by the Corporations Act and ASX Limited. Glenn owns Northern Wildcatch Seafood Australia, the country’s leading supplier of goldband snapper and other tropical species, and a farm in South Australia. He has held the position of Chairman at Beach Energy since 2012, and also serves as Chairman of the South Australian Spencer Gulf Prawn Fishery and South Australian Aquaculture Tenure Allocation Board. Glenn is also Non-Executive Director of A. Raptis & Sons Pty Ltd (seafood), Raptis & Sons Pty Ltd (property), Monax Mining Limited and Integrated Waste Services.

Amelia Salter is a managing director at Moelis Australia Group and specializes in corporate advisory and capital markets. She has advised clients on numerous capital raising, mergers and acquisitions and other advisory transactions.
Prior to joining Moelis Australia Group, Amelia worked at UBS Investment Bank for 10 years and, amongst other roles, led UBS’s Alternative Capital Group in Australia and the firm’s equity origination efforts across emerging companies.
Her family has been involved in cattle breeding running both a commercial and stud operation for over a decade, with country in the Macleay Valley region and the New England region of New South Wales.
Amelia holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honors – University Medal), a PhD in Finance from the University of Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
She is a co-author of An Introduction to Corporate Finance, one of Australia’s leading University finance text books.
